Keith Gibson

Biography

I grew up in Victoria playing the Royal Colwood Golf and Country Club. After High school moved to New Brunswick and attended the University of New Brunswick and played some varsity basketball. After the long cold winters I moved to the Cayman Islands where the bartending and beaching viewing skills were perfected.

Returning back to Canada decided to pursue the golf industry. Mr Norm Jackson took me in as his apprentice at the Cowichan Golf club in 1995. After 3 years with Norm I moved to Vancouver to work at Swan E Set Bay Resort where I obtained my class A status in 1999.
In 2000 became the Head Professional of the LongBeach Golf Course in Tofino BC, and today still operate the facility under my management company KJG Golf Services.
Tofino has been home for 12 years now. My wife Paula and I have 2 children 5 and 7 years old, and enjoy spending any down time playing on the beach.
