Dan Czerwenka joins PGA of BC Administration team as Programs Manager

RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) – Following an extensive search process, the PGA of British Columbia is proud to welcome Dan Czerwenka as the Association’s Programs Manager.

Czerwenka joins the Administration team after thirteen years in the financial services industry. Since re-locating to the Lower Mainland in 2019, the Edmonton, Alberta-native has spent the past three years with the BMO Group where he served in the capacity of Credit Analyst in the Corporate Banking Industries.

A Business Administration graduate from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Czerwenka sought for change to pursue a career in a field driven by his passion. When the opportunity to apply his education and work experience surfaced in golf, he leaped at this opening with the PGA of BC.

“I am incredibly excited to have joined the PGA of BC” Czerwenka says. “I look forward to getting to know and working with PGA members as well as the many respected figures of the golf industry. I have had a passion for the game of golf for 11 years and the opportunity now to grow my career in the game with such a reputable organization is a dream come true”.

Under his umbrella of responsibilities, Czerwenka will lead the Association through programs and events such as Canucks Junior Golf Week, PGA of BC Awards program, Buying Show, and play a key role in Association education, playing ability tests and tournaments.

“Dan exuberates a high level of professionalism and joins us after years of strong customer service experience, which aligns with the core values of our organization” says Donald Miyazaki, Executive Director of the PGA of BC. “He brings a positive attitude and the desire to learn. I have no doubt he will fit in well with not only our team and PGA members, but also with all designates of our dynamic industry. We are thrilled to have him join our team and look forward to members meeting Dan at upcoming events this summer” Miyazaki adds.
