RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) - Following an extensive search process, the PGA of British Columbia is proud to welcome Graham Abraham as the Association’s Communications and Marketing Manager.

Abraham is a graduate of the University of Victoria and Langara College, and brings previous experience as a reporter for Northwest Sports Desk and Postmedia. Originally from Kamloops, BC, he spent time working within the golf operation at Mount Paul Golf Course where he gained a love for the sport and its camaraderie. Driven by his passion for athletics and his experience in media, Abraham leapt at the opportunity to join the PGA of BC and is excited to be back in the golf industry.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the PGA of BC. I grew up around the game of golf and I can’t wait to be immersed in the industry,” said Abraham. “I look forward to meeting all the hard-working professionals and furthering their interests.”

In his role, Abraham will be responsible for all Association communications matters, including keeping the industry up to date through the PGA of BC’s website, social media platforms and weekly E-News service while documenting tournaments and events. Abraham will also spearhead the PGA of BC’s marketing initiatives to elevate awareness of Association partners and programs such as Canucks Junior Golf Week, Women’s Golf Week and the Golfathon for ALS.

“Graham brings a wealth of education and experience and demonstrates a level of professionalism that aligns with our organization’s core values” said Donald Miyazaki, Executive Director of the PGA of BC. “I expect his positive attitude and work ethic to be well-received and we look forward to our members meeting Graham at upcoming events.”
