Topic: Branding & Marketing in the Golf Industry / The Importance of the Mental Game; On and Off the Course
David Woods is the Director of Golf at The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, California – one of the country’s most prestigious private golf communities – and a former coach of Canadian golf icon Mike Weir. David was recently listed as one of Palm Springs Life’s Top 40 under 40 in 2014.
Rick Sessinghaus is known as “Golf’s Mental Coach”. He is the expert on the mindset principles that make or break performance on and off the course, and has helped top junior, collegiate, and professional golfers reach new levels of performance. He is an Instructional Editor for Golf Tips magazine and can be seen on Fox Sports Network as a mental game contributor. He is the author of the book: Golf: The Ultimate Mind Game.

Topic: Lessons learned from the Locker Room to the Boardroom, My path to Leadership in Sports, Entertainment and Hospitality
Michael Doyle is the Executive Vice President & Arena General Manager for Canucks Sports & Entertainment. His role includes initiating, developing and executing significant new business opportunities, as well as creating and championing unique service strategies that will drive the ultimate fan experience at Rogers Arena. He is responsible for overseeing the execution of strategic plans for food and beverage, event management, concert marketing, retail and sustainability initiatives. Michael also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Green Sports Alliance, and serves as President of Toptable Restaurant Group, where he is responsible for the overall operation and performance of award-winning restaurants Araxi, CinCin, Blue Water Cafe and West.

Born and raised in Windsor, Jeff Mingay is an up-and-coming star in the world of course architecture. He has worked on high-profile projects such as Cabot Links, Sagebush Golf and Sporting Club, The Derrick Club, and most recently, the Victoria Golf Club. Legendary Canadian golf writer Lorne Rubenstein has called him “one of the sharpest young men working in and around the field of golf course design today.”
Topic: Coaching with Technology: Best Practices
After spending nearly a decade with the World Long Drive Tour, California Mini Tours and various Professional Tours in Asia, Liam founded The Golf Lab in 2009, a 26,000 square foot indoor facility that has fully integrated all aspects of the TPI model. It encompasses onsite coaching, physical, medical and equipment services, and it has solidified its reputation as one of Canada’s Premier golf performance centers. More recently Liam has refocused his energy on Education and Research and has been working with the PGA of Canada to provide the highest level Golf Coaches in Canada with support on analyzing performance with technology. Liam also helped the Titleist Performance Institute launch its worldwide Power Coach Certification program in May of 2013. This year he had a podium presentation at the World Scientific Congress of Golf in Australia, and the World Golf Fitness Summit in California.
