LANGLEY, BC (March 12, 2015) – Following two days of exceptional tournament play – and weather – we are excited to report that ten of the twenty-two participants successfully passed the PGA of BC ’s Spring Playing Ability Test (PAT) at Belmont Golf Course. Leading the field was Cody Bell of the Canoe Creek Golf Course , who shot impressive rounds of 69-70 to finish the event at 1-under par and easily secure a passing score within the newly-revised ‘Class A’ PAT designation.

(January 8, 2015) - In a battle that went right down to the wire, Jeff Palmer of Victoria’s Olympic View Golf Club was crowned the PGA of BC Professional Development Program (PDP) Champion for 2014. Palmer finished the year with an impressive 120 points, representative of his widespread involvement in education, tournament play and various forms of volunteerism.
December 16 th 2014 – The PGA of Canada recently announced the winners of its 2014 National Awards, and two PGA of BC professionals were amongst the notable names selected. Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club’s Ashley Zibrik was honoured with the Tex Noble Award for Professional Development , while Brodie Carle of Predator Ridge Golf Resort was honoured with the Moe Norman Apprentice of the Year award.
