by Nick Starchuk; Teaching Professional, Nick Starchuk Golf Academy
Attendees at the 2020 PGA of BC Buying Show were fortunate to learn from Toronto-based Teaching Professional Nick Starchuk as he explored the trends that can be revealed in players when taking a deep dive into their launch-monitor data. Starchuk is acclaimed for his expertise with the flat-stick, and the Association is pleased to have him join us again for this Education Series session focusing on putting instruction at your facility.
About Nick Starchuk
A veteran, award-winning golf instructor, Nick Starchuk has spent his adult life searching for knowledge about the golf swing and the methods that will make his students better players. “My goal has always been to seek out coaches, doctors, and trainers and learn from the best so I have a holistic understanding of the best way to assist those who come to me for instruction,” says Starchuk. “That means spending time watching the best players in the game on the range at a PGA Tour event, or observing a great coach working with a new golfer. The goal is the same—to learn as much as I can. It is an never-ending process.”
Starchuk’s successes are in golf academy leadership, developing programs at Mississaugua Golf & CC and Glen Abbey Golf Club outside of Toronto over the last 15 years. Furthermore, Nick has also established himself as one of Canada’s leading educators on golf launch monitors and indoor simulation systems to further advance golf through Canada’s winter months. He has multiple fitness and mental coaching certifications, and has coached both college and professional golfers, currently works with Canadian Provincial and National team players as well as Professional on the MacKenzie Tour. His boutique style coaching sessions offer golfers access to a private environment and unique proven approach to improvement.
