Dunne is a frequent financial industry commentator on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and is often invited to speak on leadership and management issues to business, academic and civic organizations.

He began his career on Wall Street after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in economics. This panel discussion will bring together three of the most recognizable and successful figures in the Canadian hockey landscape. Sharing in conversation their experiences and accomplishments at the top level of the sport in their respective areas, attendees will be able to glean insights from our panelists' esteemed careers in this wide-ranging, 90-minute session.

ABOUT JAROME IGINLA: Jarome Iginla is a retired professional hockey player who played more than 1,500 NHL games and was recently inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a first-ballot entry. An elite leader, Iginla led the Kamloops Blazers to two Memorial Cup Championships and was a three-time Canadian Olympian, famously assisting on the “golden goal” by Sidney Crosby during the Vancouver 2010 Games. Iginla is highly respected not only for his play on the ice but also for his humanitarian efforts and his commitment to community. He has many charitable causes with his main one being KidSport. This very worthy cause promotes sport opportunities for all. Iginla recently relocated to British Columbia with his wife Kara and their three children, where he is paying it forward and sharing his knowledge of hockey as a coach at Rink Hockey Academy.

ABOUT BOB NICHOLSON: Bob Nicholson has enjoyed a long career in the business of hockey. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Edmonton Oilers, as well sitting on the International Ice Hockey Federation Board of Directors as Vice President of North America, Bob has come a long way from his humble beginnings in the sport. Nicholson's career started in the role of operations manager at Oak Bay Recreation Centre while also serving as technical director of BC Hockey. Bob graduated to the position of President and CEO of Hockey Canada, where he managed a staff of 95 and built the programs that resulted in numerous Olympic and world-championship medals for the national junior, women's and men's programs. A key to his success has been to surround himself with many talented people such as Wayne Gretzky, Steve Yzerman and Ken Holland just to name a few. After an amazing career as a leader at Hockey Canada, Bob moved on to a new challenge with the Edmonton Oilers Entertainment Group. In this role Bob has overseen the development of the Ice District and many other exciting business projects under the vast Daryl Katz business umbrella. Bob is a great communicator and an amazing story teller and inspires many to follow his lead.

ABOUT JIM HUGHSON: Jim Hughson recently retired after an amazing 42-year career in broadcasting. Calling his first game on radio in 1979, Hughson has done hockey play-by-play spanning the course of six different decades, becoming one of Canada’s most recognizable voices. Hughson has covered countless NHL, OHL and CHL games and has been the voice of the Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and national hockey broadcasts on Hockey Night in Canada. He’s also commentated a dozen Stanley Cup Finals and the men’s hockey tournament at both the 2006 and 2014 Olympic Winter Games. In 2019, the Hockey Hall of Fame awarded Hughson the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award to honor his outstanding contributions as a hockey broadcaster. In addition to this, he is a four-time Canadian Screen Awards winner for Best Sports Play-by-Play Announcer. Beyond this, Jim is also one of the nicest individuals you will meet and has much to share for those looking to pursue a passion in whatever that may be.

PRESENTATION DETAILS: "The Farm: Building a Brand & Developing a Culture"

PRESENTATION DETAILS: "The Building Blocks to Maintaining a Long Career"

ABOUT LOCHLYN MUNRO: Lochlyn Munro doesn’t generally make tabloid headlines but assuming you watch TV and movies, you will quickly recognize his face. Munro has acted in countless roles and is the definition of a working actor taking great pride in maintaining a career that spans 30-plus years.

As a former junior hockey player whose career-ending injury sent him in a different direction, Munro started his acting career alongside Johnny Depp in "21 Jump Street." Along the way, he has co-starred alongside many A-list celebrities, including Clint Eastwood, Will Ferrell, Bruce Willis and Anthony Hopkins, just to name a few. Munro recently wrapped up a recurring role in the HBO Max series “Peacemaker” alongside John Cena under the direction of acclaimed director James Gunn of Guardians of the Galaxy fame. In an industry where the rise to fame is usually followed by an even quicker fall from it, Munro continues to land roles based on his professional and business-like approach to the work of being an actor.

With more than 250 acting credits on his IMDB page, Munro is obviously someone who knows what it takes to not only build a great career but to maintain it. The PGA of BC is very excited that he has agreed to share some of his long-standing career secrets with our members.
