Helping You Develop Your Business
As an employer, there are many competing demands on your time. Yet the process you use for recruiting, training, and motivating your people will make a significant impact on your bottom line. An effective people management strategy can even reduce your costs. For example, you’re probably already aware of the expense of replacing employees – but did you know that studies have shown it can cost as much as 18 months salary to replace some employees?

Arlene will help inspire you with new ideas – such as how to hire better people, how to keep seasonal employees coming back, how to improve morale, and how to develop a customer-centric attitude in all your people.

Arlene was hired in 2002 to lead the creation and development of go2. She has over 20 years of HR experience including development and implementation of progressive human resources services at the operational, corporate, and industry levels in both public and private sectors. She has significant experience in leading human resources within organizations undergoing large-scale change, including rapid growth, mergers & acquisitions, downsizing and plant closures. Arlene holds a M.Ed. in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a B.Ed. from the University of Victoria. She is also designated as a Certified Human Resources Professional. Arlene manages and oversees the overall operations and strategic direction at go2. She frequently speaks at industry conferences and events.
