Energy For Performance
Energy, Not Time, Is The Key To High Performance.

Canadian businesses are facing an energy crisis.

Crushing workloads, a 24/7 economy, and ever increasing expectations require that leaders skillfully access high energy levels whenever and wherever life demands it. Armed with laptops, Blackberries and PDA's, executives often apply surgical precision to their allocation of time, but lack the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual energy to fully execute their carefully designed plans.

The foundational concept is this - managing energy, not time, is the key to high performance in this environment. Effectively managing energy requires training like an elite athlete - a Corporate Athlete. To increase capacity for performing under pressure, leaders must train strategically to improve their ability to expend energy more effectively.

Chris Obst has a passion for personal and professional growth. As the Principal of Core Dynamics Group, CEO's and executive managers have cast Chris in the roles of coach, consultant, sounding board and cattle prod since 1999. Chris draws on his training, experience, natural gifts, and his knack for honest communication to help top players increase their effectiveness and achieve results for their business.

Chris has had key career successes in sales and management, and prior to launching Core Dynamics Group, the distribution company he co-founded was one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Private Companies.

Chris holds a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from the University of British Columbia, and has broad training in sales, management and human behaviour. He is also certified to administer a variety of psychometric tests and competency-based assessment and development tools for teams and individuals.

This presentation is a follow-up of the Energy For Performance talk given on April 7th at the Club Pro Series at Beach Grove Golf Club
