CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT AND SCORING

The Club Professional Championship is a 36-hole stroke play competition. Round One tee times will begin at 11 AM on Monday and Round Two tee times will begin at 10 AM on Tuesday.

Scoring will take place immediately upon completion of each round of play so be sure to turn your scorecards in promptly to the committee.

REGISTRATION

Round One tee times will begin on Wednesday at 11:10 AM. Please register 30 minutes prior to your tee time and be on the tee 10 minutes prior to your starting time for both days.

September 28th
9:30 am - Registration & Practice Facility open to participants
11:10 am - First Tee Time
6:00 pm - Cocktail Reception
6:30 pm - Championship Dinner (Dress code: Business Informal)

September 29th
9:00 am - Practice Facility Open
10:00 am - First Tee Time
3:30pm - Awards Reception
Apres Golf - Awards Presentation

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Practice rounds are available by calling Head Professional Tony Harris at 250.744.2327 at least two weeks prior to the event. Please call Bear Mountain for availability. Local participants are strongly encouraged to play their practice round at least 2-3 weeks prior to the Championship.

POWER CARTS

The use of power carts is manditory and the cost is included in your entry fee.

CHAMPIONSHIP DINNER

Following first round play, a cocktail reception and championship dinner will be held in the clubhouse beginning at approximately 6 PM and 6:30 PM respectively. All participants are required to attend the reception and dinner.

Please note that the British Columbia PGA Dress Code BUSINESS INFORMAL will be in effect for all professionals at this function.

BUSINESS INFORMAL = sport jacket or suit jacket, dress shirt, golf slacks and dress shoes.

AWARDS PRESENTATION

Following the second round of play, an awards reception and presentation will be held in the clubhouse beginning at approximately 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM respectively. The PGA of BC requests that all players make every effort possible to attend the awards presentation. The top three prize winners must be in attendance at the prize presentation (unless the Captain gives consent). There is a fine for not attending.

Please note that the British Columbia PGA Dress Code GOLF CASUAL will be in effect for all professionals at this function.

GOLF CASUAL = golf slacks, collared shirt and dress shoes (teaching shoes acceptable)
