CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT AND SCORING

The Pro-Assistant Championship is a 36-hole competition.

Round one will be a 1:00 pm shotgun start with a Scramble format.

Round two will be an 8:00 am shotgun start with a Modified Chapman Alternate-Shot format.

Modified Chapman Alternate-shot format: players hit tee-shots; both players hit their partner’s ball for their second shot, and then chooses which ball to play, alternating until holing out.  Par threes will be played somewhat differently, as you must select your ball to play after the tee shot.  Round 2 will be a Scramble format.  Both players hit tee shots, pick the best shot, and then both players hit again-continuing this process until the ball is holed out.

Scorecards should be returned to the PGA of BC immediately after completion of play.

The draw will be finalized and distributed on Friday, July 18th and will also be posted here.
