TOURNAMENT DRAW
The tournament draw will be finalized on Friday, August 21st and will be available in the Tournaments & Events section of the website.
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT AND SCORING
Tee Markers:
Senior Professionals and Male Amateurs please play from the BLUE Crown Isle markers.
Female Amateurs please play from the red tee markers.
Pro-Am Format: 18-Hole, 2 Net Best Ball, Shotgun
Professionals should return their team scorecard with gross scores for all participants. Professionals must record a score for their own ball at each hole due to the professional portion of the Championship.
Senior Men’s Championship Format: 36-Hole Stroke Play
Senior Professionals’ score during Pro-Am will count towards the 36-hole Championship.
REGISTRATION
Upon arrival please proceed to registration. Professionals will have a registration package to pick up. Amateur’s will need to verify their handicap and pick up their tee gift.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice rounds are available after 3:30 pm Sunday, August 23rd (earlier times on Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd are subject to availability) and are to be arranged by calling Head Golf Professional Jason Andrew at 250.703.5050. The cost for amateurs is the guest rate of $60 + tax and PGA of BC Professionals are complimentary. There will be a charge if you wish to take a power cart. These times are reserved for out-of-town teams only. Local players are encouraged to play their practice round 2-3 weeks in advance.
POWER CARTS
Power carts are permitted for Pro-Am rounds ONLY or for seniors competing in the Seniors’ Championship. (Should a Professional require the use of a power cart due to medical reasons, an exception may be made.)
PRO-AM LUNCHEON/DINNER
Following play, a championship lunch or dinner (depending on your shotgun) will be held in the Crown Isle Clubhouse. All teams are required to attend. Please note PGA of British Columbia Dress Code BUSINESS INFORMAL will be in effect for ALL PROFESSIONALS at both the post-round functions.
Business Informal: Sport jacket, golf slacks, dress shirt and dress shoes.
