Conditions of Competition

1. Two person team consisting of the Head Professional and the current Men’s Club Champion.The professional must be employed, and the club champion must be a member of the same facility at the time the Tournament of Champions is conducted. Club champions who are not amateurs at the time of the Championship will not be eligible as defined by the Amateur Status with the Royal Canadian Golf Association. If the Men’s Club Championship winner is unable to participate, the runner-up or club designate may be substituted.

2. 18-hole best ball format. Starting times will be a 1:00 pm shotgun start. Maximum field of 60 teams.

3. Entry Fee - $375.00/team + 5% GST (18-holes, tee gift, lunch, dinner and professional and amateur purse). PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRY FORM.

4. Motorized carts will be permitted for medical reasons only and should be booked directly through the Pro Shop.

5. Dinner will take place at approximately 6:00 pm. Attendance is mandatory.

6. PGA of British Columbia dress code BUSINESS FORMAL will be in effect for dinner. JACKET AND TIE for Professionals & Amateurs. Shower facilities will be available after golf.

7. Practice rounds should be booked by calling Head Professional Brad Burgart at 604.925.4653. Times will be available the afternoon of Sunday, May 24th at the guest rate of $117.50 for amateurs and complimentary green fees for PGA of BC Professionals. These times are for out-of-town teams ONLY. Local teams are encouraged to play their practice round several weeks in advance.

8. Entries close Friday, May 15, 2009. Withdrawals must be made in writing & arrive in the PGA of British Columbia office by 12:00pm, May 22, 2009. They will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee depending on whether entries have reached field limit or there is a waiting list. Medical illnesses will be taken into consideration. Withdrawals made inside the 72-hour time window will be 100% non-refundable.
