TOURNAMENT DRAW
The tournament draw will be finalized on Friday, August 27th, and will be available in the Tournaments & Events section of the website.
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT AND SCORING
Tee Markers:
Professionals play from the PGA of BC tee markers.
Male Amateurs play from the BLUE Whistler markers.
Female Amateurs play from the RED tee markers.
Pro-Am Format: Four-person teams made up of two professionals and two amateurs. Scoring is 2 Net Best Balls.
Professionals should return their team scorecard with gross scores for all participants. Professionals must record a score for their own ball on each hole.
PGA of BC Championship Format: 54-Hole Stroke Play
Professional's score during Pro-Am will count towards the 54-hole Championship.
REGISTRATION
Upon arrival please proceed to registration. Professionals will have a registration package to pick up. Amateurs will need to verify their handicap and pick up their tee gift.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice rounds -- times and rates TBC.
POWER CARTS
Power carts are permitted for Pro-Am rounds ONLY. (Should a Professional require the use of a power cart in Rounds 2 and 3 due to medical reasons, an exception may be made. A doctor's note must be provided to PGA of BC tournament staff.)
PRO-AM LUNCHEON/DINNER
Following play, a championship lunch or dinner (depending on time of the shotgun) will be held in the Whistler Conference Centre, a short walk from the Whistler GC. All teams are required to attend. Please note PGA of British Columbia Dress Code BUSINESS INFORMAL will be in effect for ALL PROFESSIONALS at both the post-round functions.
Business Informal: Sport jacket, slacks, dress shirt and dress shoes.
