RICHMOND, BC (PGA of BC) - The PGA of BC is proud to announce the winners of the Association's 2026 Provincial Awards. We were thrilled to recognize the winners at the 2026 Awards Celebration presented by Golf Trends Inc. on the evening of Tuesday, October 27 at the Langley Events Centre. The Association would like to acknowledge PGA of BC Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Wayne Vollmer, for his presence at the Awards Celebration. Vollmer was joined onstage by Global News' Jay Janower for an interview covering Vollmer's life, legacy, and illustrious career in the BC golf industry. Thank you to Vollmer and Janower for the enlightening conversation, and congratulations again to Vollmer, recipient of the Association's highest honour!
The PGA of BC was also proud to announce during the Awards Celebration that the 2026 Golfathon for ALS raised over $240,000 for the ALS Society of BC. Thank you to all participating professionals who devoted their time and energy, and to everyone who donated to this important cause.
Finally, we were joined onstage by Antonia Kalmacoff Jennings, Senior Director at CMHA BC, who shared that the Teach-A-Thon for Mental Health raised over $57,000 in its second year, more than doubling the 2025 fundraising total. Thank you to CMHA BC for their presence at the Awards Celebration and to every PGA of BC professional who lent their time to the initiative.
