Community Engagement
At PGA of BC, our members are committed to making a difference both on and off the course.
Through our grow-the-game initiatives, Canucks Junior Golf Month and Women's Golf Celebration presented by adidas Golf Canada, we connect thousands of kids and women across the province with a PGA professional for their first taste of the game during the summer season. Through our give-back initiatives, the Golfathon for ALS and the Teach-a-thon for Mental Health, our members rally together to raise funds and awareness for causes that matter to our communities.
Each fall, we celebrate the professionals and facilities leading this work through our annual PGA of BC Golf Awards, and our Community Engagement Program presented by Cobra Puma Golf recognizes members who go above and beyond, with the province's top volunteers, fundraisers, and game growers sharing a $5,000 season purse.

Partnering with the Vancouver Canucks since 2014, the PGA of BC's Junior Golf Week has now expanded to Junior Golf Month for 2026, and continues to connects hundreds of kids across the province with a PGA professional for an introductory golf lesson.

Expanding upon Brady Stead's teach-a-thon, which started in 2023, the PGA of BC is proud to partner with SteadyGolf and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in 2025 to kick off this province-wide effort to raise funds and awareness for local mental health initiatives.
