Coolbet expands partnership with the PGA of BC

Coolbet expands partnership with the PGA of BC

March 5, 2026

Richmond, BC (PGA of British Columbia) - The PGA of BC is pleased to announce the continuation and expansion of its partnership with Coolbet, which will once again serve as the Exclusive Sportsbook and Casino of the PGA of BC while also joining the Association as a Co-Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 PGA of BC Pro-Pro Championship.

The expanded collaboration builds on a successful first season together in 2025 and will continue to highlight PGA of BC professionals through the Coolbet Pro’s Picks campaign, a season-long social media initiative featuring members’ predictions for golf’s biggest tournaments.

Ahead of marquee events such as the men's and women's major championships, the CPKC Women's Open, the RBC Canadian Open and The PLAYERS Championship, PGA of BC members will be invited to share their pick to win. The selections will be featured across PGA of BC social channels.

“Our first year working with the PGA of BC reinforced just how important its members are to growing the game in British Columbia. PGA professionals are some of the hardest-working people in the industry, and we’re proud to continue finding ways to support and enhance their lives both on and off the course. Investing in the people who drive the game forward aligns perfectly with our long-term commitment to golf in Canada,” said Andrew Aguanno, Coolbet Canada Partnerships Manager.

Coolbet operates as an online sportsbook and casino with a strong commitment to responsible gaming. The company prioritizes safe and informed participation, providing tools and resources designed to ensure entertainment remains both enjoyable and responsible.

“Responsible gaming is central to everything we do. Golf is built on integrity, accountability, and respect — values that closely mirror our own. Partnering with the PGA of BC gives us a trusted platform to promote responsible entertainment in an authentic and community-focused way,” added Aguanno.

As part of the expanded partnership, Coolbet will serve as Co-Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 PGA of BC Pro-Pro Championship, scheduled for September 14–15 at Highland Pacific Golf in Victoria. The annual competition brings together PGA of BC professionals from across the province to compete in a two-person team format.

“We’re especially excited to support the Pro-Pro Championship this year and serve as a sponsor of that event. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate PGA professionals, and we’re looking forward to doing something special for the players competing. Building on the momentum from year one and creating memorable experiences this season is something we’re very much looking forward to,” said Aguanno.

The PGA of BC is grateful for Coolbet’s continued support and looks forward to building on a successful first year together. The Association extends its thanks to Aguanno, Country Manager Patrick Gregoire, and Social Media & Content Manager Jake Bolin Moss for their ongoing collaboration and commitment to the partnership.

Coolbet Challenge: Adam Svensson vs. Brett Lauther & Andrew Walker

Adam Svensson takes on Coolbet’s Brett Lauther and Andrew Walker in a 1-v-2, three-hole showdown at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Florida.

Svensson plays his own ball against the scramble duo of Lauther and Walks, but here’s the twist: before every hole, the group spins the Coolbet slot, revealing a new challenge for Svensson which in turn gives the scramble partners an added advantage. No two holes are the same, keeping the unpredictability at an all-time high.
