Campbell River, BC (PGA of British Columbia) - Emerging victorious from a sudden-victory playoff yesterday at Campbell River Golf Club, Fairwinds Golf Club's Helene Delisle and Coulton Sheets were crowned the 2026 G&G Brands and Callaway Golf Pro-Assistant Champions.

The duo fired an opening-round best-ball 62 (-9) on Monday, tying for a share of the first round lead with Ledgeview Golf Club's Luke McKenzie and Caleb Voth, and Nicklaus North Golf Course's Andrew Smart and Zac Carson.

The second round was contested as a two-pro scramble, and Delisle and Sheets broke the round open with a brilliant front-nine charge. After opening with three straight pars, the Fairwinds duo caught fire with six consecutive birdies from holes four through nine. They added birdies on 11 and 12, and after a bogey on 13, responded with back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15. They closed with three straight pars for a second consecutive 62.

Pacific Golf Academy (Richmond)'s Sergej Dronov and Mewail Kidane were one shot back of Fairwinds Golf Club after their first round 63 (-8). They also reached 18-under par after 36 holes, carding a second-round 61 to join Delisle and Sheets at the top of the leaderboard. The duo delivered a composed and efficient scramble performance, recording six birdies and two eagles with 10 pars. Their back-nine stretch proved especially important, with birdies on 12, 13, 15 and 17, along with an eagle on 14, helping them force a playoff.

The sudden-victory playoff was contested in an alternate-shot format on Campbell River Golf Club's par-4 1st hole.

The playoff began with Delisle and Dronov finding similar positions down the right side with their tee shots. Kidane’s approach finished left of the green beneath a group of trees, while Sheets sent a high, arcing approach to the middle of the green, roughly 30 to 40 feet from the cup. From a difficult lie, Dronov’s chip came out low and settled in the rough short of the putting surface, but Kidane nearly kept Pacific Golf Academy alive with a precise chip to within two feet. Delisle’s birdie attempt from distance was played conservatively on the downhill line and finished just short, leaving Sheets to convert the short putt and secure the championship for Fairwinds.

"We feel amazing. This is so cool that we won a tournament together. It was an amazing two days," said Delisle.

Sheets said the Fairwinds Golf Club community rallied around the duo, as Sheets picked up his first career professional victory.

"We had members and staff texting us last night. The club was following along and enjoying it. It was super fun for us."

Marking another major milestone for the team, Delisle becomes the first woman to ever win the Pro-Assistant Championship.

"Winning as a woman, there's not that many of us in the industry. Any wins we get, especially in the men's world, they're amazing," said Delisle.

Fairwinds Golf Club wins $3,400 for their victory. Pacific Golf Academy (Richmond) takes home $1,950 for their runner-up finish.

Three teams tied for third place at 17-under, earning $1,200: Luke McKenzie and Caleb Voth (Ledgeview Golf Club), Peter Hopley and John Mlikotic (Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club), and Todd Tweedy and Victor Baptiste (Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course). Tweedy and Baptiste posted a tournament-low 57 (-14) yesterday.
