PGA of BC 2025 award nominations are now open

Richmond, BC (PGA of BC) - The PGA of BC is proud to announce that the nomination period for 2025 Awards is now open! Members and the golfing public can nominate those in the Association to be honoured at the Association's Awards Celebration, taking place October 28 at the Langley Events Centre. PGA of BC members and the public can nominate candidates in each award category on the nominations form. The nomination period will remain open for ten days, closing on Thursday, September 18. Member-at-large voting for the provincial award winners will open on Thursday, October 9 and close on Wednesday, October 15.

The PGA of British Columbia Awards are presented each fall. These honours recognize the individuals and golf facilities that serve as leaders in our Association. Acknowledging and honouring them helps elevate the profile of every PGA of BC member in the eyes of the public.

More than a dozen award recipients are named each year, with 11 of those awards dependent on peer nomination. These nominations are then considered by four regional nominating committees, which determine Regional Award Recipients in each category that are put forward as finalists for the provincial award.

Our provincial award winners are then determined by a member-at-large vote, with a final Awards Committee ratifying the results, and/or breaking any ties. If eligible, provincial recipients are also put forward as British Columbia's nominee for corresponding National Awards presented by the PGA of Canada.
