Recap: 2026 Jack McLaughlin Memorial Pro-Junior Championship Series presented by Sundog Eyewear, Blue Tees Golf and adidas Golf Canada

Richmond, BC (PGA of British Columbia) - Congratulations to the winning teams from Revelstoke Golf Club, Gorge Vale Golf Club, and Richmond Country Club, champions of the 2026 Jack McLaughlin Memorial Pro-Junior Championship Series presented by Sundog Eyewear, Blue Tees Golf and adidas Golf Canada. Professionals were joined by three junior golfers from their club for a two-net best-ball competition.
The Interior/Kootenays regional championship took place July 21 at Revelstoke Golf Club, where it was a battle for supremacy between two home teams. Ultimately, Revelstoke Head Professional Dean Jackson took the victory through retrogression after his team tied Assistant Professional Chris Dhillon's squad at 15-under. Jackson was joined on the winning team by Luke Traverse, Nash McStay, and Jack Thornley. Traverse excelled with a 62, including an ace on the par-3 17th.
Dhillon led all competing professionals with five birdies, taking home $309.52 from the professional birdies purse. Six competitors tied for second place with four birdies each.
The Vancouver Island regional championship was hosted at Cedar Hill Golf Course in Victoria on July 27. Gorge Vale Golf Club, made up of professional Zach Ryujin and junior golfers Anja Andersen, Quinton Barnes, and Jaidn Murphy, took the victory by one stroke, firing a team score of 8-under. Teams from Nanaimo Golf Club led by Aidan Goodfellow and Cedar Hill Golf Course led by Laird White finished at 7-under, with Nanaimo taking second place through retrogression.
Goodfellow topped the professional birdies leaderboard with a staggering ten birdies.
The Lower Mainland regional championship was contested on July 29 at Squamish Valley Golf Club. With an impressive team score of 14-under par, Richmond Country Club's Doug Morgan, Megan Ly, Julian Mak, and Nathan Welford were crowned the Lower Mainland champions. Richmond tied Vancouver Golf Club, led by Will Barnett, at 14-under and broke the tie through retrogression. Morgan's first career Pro-Junior victory gives him at least one win in seven different PGA of BC events across his career.
Cory Wilson (Squamish Valley Golf Club) led all professionals with seven birdies, while Mike Aizawa (Elite Golf Club) was runner-up with six.
