Register: Lower Mainland Education Series

Richmond, BC (PGA of BC) - The PGA of BC invites members to register for the upcoming Lower Mainland Education Series event, taking place Monday, January 26 at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club in Vancouver.
This event serves as not only a valuable professional development opportunity, but also gives attendees the chance to connect and network with their peers in the Association.
Members can register for $40 plus GST, including lunch. Attendees will earn four PDP points for their participation.

Based in North Vancouver, Bryn Parry’s career began at a young age and blossomed through numerous achievements, including winning the Canadian PGA Championship and being honored as the PGA of BC’s Player of the Year six times.
Parry’s competitive experience spans prestigious tours such as the Canadian and Korn Ferry Tours, alongside appearances in the Canadian Open, where he honed his game at the highest levels.
Parry combines his deep technical knowledge with strategic insights to help golfers elevate their game. His coaching approach emphasizes mental focus, strategic course management, and individualized techniques tailored to each student’s goals.
In 2025, Parry won the Alvie Thompson Teacher of the Year award and was inducted into the BC Golf Hall of Fame.
Spencer Bordin
"Understanding Common Golf Injuries: Research, Clinical Insight, and Coaching Application"
Spencer Bordin is a registered physiotherapist in British Columbia and the on-site physiotherapist at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club. A lifelong athlete and certified personal trainer, he has worked with a wide range of athletes throughout his schooling, including NCAA athletes and collegiate golfers in the United States. He specializes in injury rehabilitation and performance-based care for golfers, integrating current research with an understanding of swing mechanics, training load, and practice demands. Spencer collaborates closely with golf professionals to support efficient return-to-play and long-term injury prevention. He also currently treats athletes at MVMTLAB Multidisciplinary Sport and Health Clinic in Downtown Vancouver, working with individuals across multiple sports.
