In 1999 Scott was the recipient of the Provincial and Canadian "Golf Professional of the Year Award"; in addition, in 1997 Scott was nominated for the B.C. Provincial "Teacher of the Year Award", and was named Canadian “Score Golf“ Professional of the Year in 1999. As per his service to his fraternity and the game, Scott has served as President of the PGA of BC, and President of the B.C. Golf Museum.
For the past 12 years Scott has been a Teaching Professional at Highland Pacific Golf in Victoria,. B.C. Before that Scott was the General Manager/ Director of Golf for Eaglestar Golf for 16 years... combined Morningstar International G.C. & Eaglecrest G.C. located in central Vancouver Island.
