Withdrawal Policies
- Registrants will be charged a $50 administration fee if withdrawing within 30 days before the start of the event.
- Withdrawals within 14 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the entry fee, unless the position is filled by another player.
- Waitlisted members without priority will be notified of open spots 21 days before the event.
- Registration becomes first-come, first-served 21 days before the event.
**If a waiting list exists, entry fees may be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee should the position be filled by another player.
Eligibility
Two-person team consisting of one Head, Executive, or Head Teaching Professional and one Assistant Professional from the same facility.
Championship Awards
All teams are required to attend the Monday reception and dinner, as well as the Tuesday reception and prize presentation. The PGA of BC Dress Code — Golf Casual — will be in effect for all Professionals at all post-round functions.
Championship Format
The Pro-Assistant Championship is a 36-hole competition played over two days with different formats each round.
Round 1 — Best Ball
Round 2 — Scramble
Tiebreaker
In the event of a tie, a sudden death playoff will commence immediately in an Alternate Shot format.
Scorecards
Scorecards should be returned to the PGA of BC immediately after completion of play.
Skins Game
A two-day Skins Game runs alongside the championship ($20/day, included in entry fee). Skins are tallied after each round and paid out following the event.
Rules & Regulations
Distance Measuring Devices
The use of electronic distance measuring devices is permitted. Devices capable of measuring distance only will be permitted. Devices capable of measuring other factors, such as elevation change, must be turned off.
Power Carts
The use of a power cart is required at the Pro-Assistant Championship. Team members may request individual carts in the interest of physical distancing.
Championship Dinner & Awards
Attendance at both the Monday and Tuesday post-round functions is mandatory. Golf Casual dress code is in effect for all professionals at all post-round functions.
