Richmond, B.C. (PGA of BC) – From September 26-27, 2016, Quilchena Golf & Country Club will host 36 of the province’s finest Executive Professionals, Head Professionals, and Head Teaching Professionals at the 2016 Cleveland Golf/Srixon Canada PGA of BC Club Professional Championship presented by Club Car.
The 36-hole stroke play competition will feature past champions, including defending champ Lindsay Bernakevitch (Victoria Golf Club), Scott Rodgers of Meadow Gardens Golf Club (2013 champion), and Bill Kelly of Glacier Green Golf Course (2006 champion).
This year, the PGA of BC looks forward to honouring golf legend Dick Munn by awarding the Dick Munn Memorial Trophy to this year’s Champion. Munn was the consummate professional who mentored dozens of Assistant Professionals that went on to be Head Professionals themselves. He was a long-time Head Professional at Point Grey Golf & Country Club, which then led to an opportunity to develop and open Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club in Kelowna.
The PGA of BC Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Jack Westover will also take place following the first round on September 26. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
